To what extent?

Wow! I was just delivered a shocker and am left pondering the question of "to what extent does one go to move on..?"

Is there truly a need to delete the past to move forward with someone new? I have always believed not but evidently not everyone concurs.. So how do you make out having a friendship with your ex being okay but when u get married then the ex must be axed our of your life as well? Delete fb fren, delete phone number, block all contact possible??!!!

Hmm.. As much as I would like to believe that I would know the person I used to date pretty well but I am beginning to think maybe not coz the person I knew treasured all forms of friendship.. But this person is now throwing away an 11 year friendship..

Of course I could look at it from a real negative point and say the wife did all that without his knowledge but is that really possible? Would someone be so oblivious to all the deletion and extermination of contact? I don't know.

All I can say is that I am feeling disturbed. Disturbed and disgusted actually. Where is the person I once knew? Or did that person ever exist in the first place..??

Accident or Intrusion?

Now...take a look at the photo below and tell me what you think happened?

For me...it looked like someone tried to pry open the door without success... I mean how else can you explain the wavy condition... if it was an accident and some other vehicle knocked into this one....wouldnt it have created a different shape? Curved? Bent? Line? But I am mean it is wavy!!! Weird right? What do you think?

Take your time... I know it is difficult to digest... dont hurry yourself... up til now I am still having some gender confusion as well as some BIG ????!!! to most of what has been said...
To a certain extent, Elaine and I were thinking that this might be some direct translation work from Malay... see example below:

England :Refinement of soul, Yang Amat Mulia always watching natural beauty environment immortalize in the form photograph and painting to make look and reference.
Malaysia : Untuk menenangkan jiwa, Yang Amat Mulia sentiasa memandang ke arah keindahan semulajadi yang diabadikan dalam bentuk gambar ataupun lukisan sebagai sumber petunjuk dan rujukan. (does this sentence make more sense??!!! perhaps not...)

Hahah!! anyway.... there are some points which I couldnt even decipher even if it was translated like "Yang Amat Mulia Raja Zarith Sofiah comply have interest profoundest field documentation. " Huh? What?!!!!

All in all, this is seriously an embarassment to the local tertiary education or more so the quality of students in such establishments.... What is the point of changing math and science to English if the educators themselves do not have a good command of the language... Do you know what you get?

Math teacher : Class, now please answer , four push two same with?
(for those who are scratching your heads... translated to malay it is "Empat tolak dua sama dengan?!!!)

Trust me..this is not a joke... this was actually told to me by my ex English teacher... so tell me.. in such an instance, do we blame the educator or the student for the terrible state of 'England' which surrounds us now?

How much more uncreative can u get?

I heard this advert over the radio this morning and my first reaction when it ended was "Weird"...
It goes like this:

M: Honey, I am home!! How was your day?
W: Uuurgh... the air cond broke down, the children were fussing and dinner is burnt...
M: That's marvelous...
W: Huh?
M: I know what will solve all our problems. Let's get a T****** air cond... It now comes with a stainless steel pot!!
W: Wow! a T******* air cond and a stainless steel pot? That's wonderful!!
*forgive me if I got the script wrong but that is the gist of it....

What the ****???!!!!! Who ever thinks of such an advert... the next time I heard it, I reacted with a resounding "Ridiculous"!! It is just plain weird.... How much more uncreative or unimaginative can one get? So what was it telling you? With the new air cond you kids will not fuss and with the new pot the dinner will not get burnt? It just makes me laugh and cringe at the same time...
Is our advertising industry really so lacking?!! Or was the company so stingy they wrote their own script?
Only God knows.... hahaha!!

Never Truly Realised....

It struck me the other day that while I was busy building my career, achieving my goals in life yadaa yadaa yadaa... along with it I am also growing older... but then I never truly realised that my parents were growing older just like me... Only thing is, they are much older...
I think I have always taken it for granted that my parents were invincible and there will always be there the same way as they have always been....
Little telltale signs of aging were creeping up... It probably has started creeping much earlier on but I just never realised... Like the sudden lack of memory... (those from the yester years are remembered clearly, but recent ones are easily forgotten...), they start to repeat things they have said, they start walking slower, reflexes are not quite what they were... eyesight too... they have shorter temper and tend to nag a bit more repeatedly... Of course not forgetting the health deterioration.... They start having more frequent doctors visits....
I used to think my mother carried logs when she was younger... (I was extremely young when I thought that... coz she told me she used to work in a logging company and she sometimes transported logs here and there... I was a innocent little 3 year old when I thought that...:P ) Nowadays, even walking or standing for a long period of time is straining on her knees... and yet, regardless of all that she still continues to be the parent I have always remembered her to be... she continues on with the chores she has always done despite the pain... she continues to wake up at the crack of dawn to start the day off early... My dad continues to work everyday (and even on weekends) eventhought he is 63... I wonder whether when I come to such an age would I be as selfless as they have been throughout the years....
My parents are quite wonderful when you sit down and think about it... Absolutely the bestest you can ever find... :) Although I dont tell them that often but I do know I am one heck of a lucky person to have what I have... :)
Well, time for me to complain less and appreciate more....
